Today, I made my way into Amsterdam to find the shop where I booked my passport photo. I got off at Wibaustraat and got lost. I NEVER get lost, but I went in circles for a bit whilst my GPS did the same thing. Finally, I used Google maps like a regular old map. *gasp* And found my way to the shop. It took all over 3 minutes to have my photos done, printed, and ready for me.
I had to head over to the other side of the city and was really happy to find the tram I needed ran right past the shop. Within 20 minutes, I was at my next destination.
I decided to grab lunch at an Irish Pub near the Palace. I enjoyed a nice KilKenny Red and some beef brisket. I imagine what it would really be like to spend the afternoon or evening in a pub in Dublin.
When I got home, I found a great website and Gareth and I will review the site tonight and gather questions for my interviews later in the week.
We are set on Dublin. I’ve got all this adrenaline coursing through my body. I really feel like I’m bouncing all over the place. I’ll be sending my registration paperwork in to NMBI as soon as possible.
I want to get a jump start on Nursing in Ireland!
